Prohibited Fundraising
We take seriously the possibility that certain campaigns could not only disturb our community but also harm some nations' legal systems. Therefore, it is crucial to avoid organizing a fundraising that is tied to all of our limitations. Be sure to review any campaign subjects that are outright forbidden on the platform.
Illegal Products or Services
Campaigns cannot represent, support, or promote illegal goods, services, or actions. The promotion of unsuitable, unlawful, or dangerous goods, services, or information must not be the focus of campaigns intended at minors, nor may such promotions exploit, deceive, or place excessive pressure on the target age groups.
Discriminatory Practices
Regardless of age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, race, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, disability, medical condition, or genetic condition, a fundraising campaign cannot discriminate against or encourage discrimination against any of these categories of people.
Tobacco and Related Products
Fundraising activities cannot advocate for the purchase or use of tobacco products and related accessories. Electronic cigarettes, vaporizers, and other items that mimic smoking are not permitted to be promoted in advertisements.
Unsafe Substances
The sale or use of illegal or recreational drugs, as well as other risky products, supplements, or substances as decided by Meta in its sole discretion, may not be promoted through fundraising.
Weapons, Ammunition, or Explosives
It is forbidden to utilize fundraising to support the use or sale of firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Ads for equipment to modify weapons are included in this.
Adult Products or Services
Fundraising activities cannot advocate for the purchase or usage of adult goods or services. Ads for family planning and other sexual and reproductive health services, such as contraception, must be directed at adults 18 years of age or older and must not emphasize sexual pleasure.
Adult Content
Adult material is not permitted in fundraising. Nudity, images of people in graphically suggestive or explicit poses, and overtly suggestive or sexually provocative behavior all fall under this category. Ads that claim or imply the ability to interact with someone, meet them, or watch information they have generated cannot be placed in a sexual manner or with the intention of sexualizing the subject of the fundraising.
